When do I show up?
Half an hour before the service start (9:30am).
How long do I need to stay after the service?
Approximately 15 minutes.
What will I be doing?
Greeting people at the entrances as they come in before the service .
Am I doing anything during the service?
Yes, you and your team will be stationed around the entrances of the auditorium and available to help late comers find a seat for 15 minutes after the service starts. You will also be taking up the offering and placing it in the safe.
How will I know what to do?
You will be put with an experienced volunteer who will show you the ropes! Also an easy to follow manual and checklist will be provided (it even has pictures!)
Who do I speak to if I have a question or concern?
The Hospitality Leader or, during the service, the Service Coordinator (there is always one on du-ty).
Something has come up and I can’t make my scheduled shift, what happens now?
Please refer to the volunteer list that has been provided to each team and make every effort to find a replacement. Remember, if you don’t show, your team will be shorthanded.

You will assist the leaders of the church in being available for our church, and broader, communities as needs arise.
What will I be doing?
Hospital visits, making meals for those who are ill, recovering and are new moms, assisting the elderly, praying for people, mentoring new believers, discipleship, and generally seeing the supernatural power of God being released and transforming lives.
When am I needed?
Schedule is flexible depending upon your availability. Weekdays or weekends, daytime or evening.

Contributing towards the morning worship vocally or instrumentally. You will also be helping to set up and put away all the gear.
Am I doing anything during the service?
Yes, worship happens for the first 45 minutes of the service after which you will be freed up but need to remain present as the worship team is occasionally called back up after the service.
How will I know what to do?
You will be part of an experienced team who will show you the ropes for set up. You will then be instructed by one of the worship leaders.

Most Kairos Kids teachers like to get set up 15 minutes before the service starts.
Kairos Kids and Nursery start as soon as the sermon starts at approx. 10:45am.
How long do I need to stay after the service?
Approximately 15 minutes.
What will I be doing?
KK: Leading or helping teach the weekly lesson.
Nursery: Hanging with cute little people ages 1-3!
Am I doing anything during the service?
Yes, this is when you will be interacting with the children.
How often will I be scheduled?
Kairos Kids: The schedule is divided into 3 week sessions. Depending on your availability, you will cover a few sessions per school year.
Nursery: Generally, once every 4 – 5 weeks (schedule permitting).
How will I know what to do?
You will be put with an experienced volunteer who will show you the ropes! For Kairos Kids, an easy to follow lesson plan is provided.

Your Children’s Ministry Lead or, during the service, the Service Coordinator (there is always one on duty).

Do I need to do a criminal record check?
Yes, anyone working with children is required to have this done. We will provide you with a letter to take to your local Police station and they will do it for free.

Am I doing anything during the service?
Yes, you will be working with software that runs our event slides and worship lyrics as well as recording the service for podcasting at the end.
How will I know what to do?
You will be put with an experienced volunteer who will show you the ropes! Also, an easy to follow manual and checklist will be provided (it even has pictures!)

The Tech Team Leader or, during the service, the Service Coordinator (there is always one on duty).

What will I be doing?
Making the coffee and kid’s drinks for both pre and post service times. On potluck days you will be responsible for organizing and readying all the food that comes in as well as the cleanup. Extra hands are brought in on these days.
Am I doing anything during the service?
No, not for the most part, except occasionally on potluck days. At approximately 11:20am you will go to the kitchen to prep the last few things.
How will I know what to do?
You will be put with an experienced volunteer who will show you the ropes! Also an easy to follow manual will be provided (it even has pictures).
